CINCINNATI (WXIX) – A night out in Dubai has become a real-life nightmare for two stranded Ohio brothers.
With its ultra-modern architecture and beautiful beaches, Ohio native, former US airman, and current social media influencer, Joseph Lopez, says Dubai seems like the perfect spot to get away for a few weeks.
“I came out here because I wanted to shoot content and Dubai seems like this very glamorous place,” Lopez explained.
Lopez says his brother, Joshua, tagged along for the trip they started on May 25.
About a week later on June 3, Lopez says everything went south.
The brothers went out for a night on the town and eventually ended up at a yacht party at the invitation of a new foreign friend.
After a short time on the boat, Lopez says he was hit with a massive bill, one he never agreed to.
