CINCINNATI (WXIX) – Two brothers have returned to Ohio after a trip to Dubai went horribly wrong, according to Radha Stirling, the CEO of Detained in Dubai.
Former U.S. Airman Joseph Lopez and his brother, Joshua, were sentenced to one month in prison for drinking alcohol on a yacht back in June.
The two men were in Dubai to travel, see the sites, and create social media content for Joseph’s influencer career. However, things quickly went downhill after they accepted an invitation to a yacht party from a new “friend.”
According to the veteran, it all started when he was hit with an expensive bill onboard the yacht – one he did not take part in and refused to pay.
Lopez says he was upset and confused about what happened and claimed that he thought the issue was resolved,
