CINCINNATI (WXIX) – Two Ohio brothers were sentenced in Dubai last week after a night out went horribly wrong.
Former U.S. Airman Joseph Lopez and his brother, Joshua, were sentenced to one month in prison for drinking alcohol on a yacht back in June.
The two men were in Dubai to travel, see the sites and create social media content for Joseph’s influencer career. However, things quickly went downhill after they accepted an invitation to a yacht party from a new “friend.”
FOX19 NOW’s Megan O’Rourke spoke with Joseph back in July to hear his side of the story. According to the veteran, it all started when he was hit with an expensive bill onboard the yacht – one he did not take part in and refused to pay.
Upset and confused on how that could have happened, the issue seemed to have been resolved, he said.
