Soarion Credit Union sponsors Live from the Southsides Youth Writing Program [Video]

Editor’s note: This story was published through a partnership between KSAT and Live From the Southside, a new local- and Latina-owned magazine that works to improve & expand community relationships through promoting events, stories and businesses.

Live from the Southside is thrilled to announce that Soarion CEducaredit Union has joined as the official 2025 sponsor of its Youth Writing Program!

This exciting initiative invites local students in grades 3-12 from South San Antonio to showcase their creative talents and become published writers for Live from the Southside magazine and website.

The Youth Writing Program provides an incredible opportunity for students to submit personal essays, poems, songs, speeches and family-friendly nonfiction pieces.

Each submission must be a maximum of 300 words. This initiative also allows teachers to incorporate the program into extra credit assignments or classroom challenges, fostering creativity and skill development.
