Soar with 6: Tuggle Elementary School students start new school year with revamped classroom [Video]

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Thanks to WBRC’s “Soar with 6” initiative a vibrant new classroom awaited students at Tuggle Elementary School in Birmingham.

The grand unveiling took place Thursday in Ms. Nelly Elorza’s ESL class. The space is now filled with fresh paint, new storage solutions, and colorful decorations designed to inspire learning and creativity. Ms. Elorza, a teacher with a dedication to her craft and a personal connection to the challenges faced by her students, was the deserving winner of the contest.

”I teach six grades, from kindergarten through fifth grade, and having everything organized and labeled makes a huge difference. It helps me find what I need quickly and efficiently, said Ms. Elorza.
