Smurfit Westrock makes Wall Street debut [Video]

The recently created Smurfit Westrock has made its first appearance on the London and New York stock exchanges.

The company is a merger between Irish packaging firm Smurfit Kappa and American company WestRock, and its listing on the two stock exchanges follows Smurfit Kappa’s recent delisting from the Euronext Dublin.

It will trade on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the ticker ‘SW’ and on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) under the ticker ‘SWR’.

The combined entity will operate in over 40 countries with a combined workforce of over 100,000 people. It will have a primary focus on sustainable packaging material.
