Smash Bros, a tiny burger joint near Philadelphia, serves big flavor [Video]

Smash burgers are buzzing and that’s no secret. It seems like it’s impossible to scroll social media without coming across some sort of smashed beef patty slathered in sauce and dropped on a fluffy bun.

Plenty of eateries are adding smash burgers to their menus and those that already offered smash burgers are finding ways to set theirs apart from others. But a new South Jersey burger spot called Smash Bros is separating itself from the pack and staking its claim as the best smash burger — and maybe best burger overall — in the area.

Brothers Mo, 29, and Fahmi Abuhmoud, 26, opened Smash Bros, a small hut just off of the Black Horse Pike (Route 168) in Runnemede back in April.

The 500-square-foot location has posed a challenge, considering the spot’s instant popularity.
