COLUSA COUNTY, Calif. – If you want to weigh in on a massive water storage project in Colusa County, there is a public meeting tonight about the Sites Reservoir.
Colusa County’s community development department wants to hear concerns and feedback to create a community plan. The reservoir is proposed west of Maxwell. It would capture runoff during the winter months and provide more water storage for the state.
Key topics for discussion include temporary workplace housing, short-term and long-term economic strategies, transportation and traffic.
The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the American Legion building in Maxwell.
