SIOUX CITY — Siouxland Community Health Center has selected a new CEO, after an extensive national search and interview process.
Mark Donaldson, who most recently served as executive director of Grand Columbia Health Alliance in Washington, will succeed Mari Kaptain-Dahlen. Kaptain-Dahlen served as CEO from 2013 until her retirement in 2024.
“The Board is excited about Mark’s experience in healthcare as a results-driven leader with an exemplary record of building collaborative relationships,” Dr. Dona Prince, president of the health center’s board of directors, said in a statement released Tuesday. “Mark genuinely believes in our mission, vision and values and we’re excited to welcome him and his family back to Sioux City.”
Donaldson brings more than 30 years of health care experience and 25 years of executive experience leading hospitals, clinic operations, value-based care contracting and developing sustainable solutions in community-based care, according to the statement. At Grand Columbia Health Alliance …
