SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – The Sioux Gateway Airport is updating its master plan to update and expand the existing terminal; and, they want the public’s input.
The FAA says the goal of a master plan is to provide the framework to cost-effectively guide future airport development while satisfying aviation demand.
In July, the Sioux Gateway Airport held its first of two open houses to get the public’s opinion on its master plan. Since then, airport and city leaders along with a consulting firm, have used the comments to shape the plan.
“This public workshop is to show what came of that process. We created a development plan as a result of that evaluation and now we want to showcase it. We’re showing, ‘this is the feedback we took from you, this is what the airport has shown, and now we want to bring the plan to you,’” said Russell Boroski, …
