Sierra College Rocklin getting new gymnasium [Video]

ROCKLIN, Calif. — It’s time to put on your workout shoes. Sierra College’s Rocklin campus announced an 81,000 sq ft gymnasium will be added in early 2025.

“We are thrilled for our students and employees who will train, compete, learn and work in a more modern gym facility, as well as all students, employees and community members who come out to support our athletics programs,” said Sierra College President/Superintendent Willy Duncan. 

A spokesperson for Sierra College says the gym, built in the 1960s when the Rocklin campus was also built, needed to be remodeled and expanded.

“The competition gym and wrestling area were undersized; locker rooms, classroom spaces, cardio and weight rooms needed to be modernized and enlarged,” they said.
