OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (KCTV) – Shoppers have been invited to fall into winter this weekend at an Overland Park holiday market.
Community members gathered at the Grid Collaborative Workspaces at 12022 Blue Valley Pkwy. to get their holiday shopping started on Saturday, Nov. 16. They could find everything from local handmade crafts to holiday decor.
Organizers noted that children also had a special space to color and make crafts for a fun break from shopping. This is only one way to get out and support local businesses.
“It’s a really great time to get out and to meet new people,” said Tina Parr, a local business owner. “Our business is online so this is my only chance to kind of meet the community and let them know who we are and what we do. It’s just one of my favorite things and favorite times to do it.”
