Small Business Saturday is the Saturday after Black Friday and before Cyber Monday. It encourages shopping local and supporting small businesses during the holidays.

CHULA VISTA, Calif. — Right between Black Friday and Cyber Monday is Small Business Saturday. It’s a good time to shop local, support the community and find that perfect unique gift.

Small businesses line Third Avenue in Chula Vista, inviting you in for some holiday shopping. One of those stores is El Cholo’s Kid, selling unique hand-woven bags.

Along with colorful purses, owner Daisy Romero also sells items from local vendors and artists in her store.

“It’s a little chain reaction of artists that you support when you shop at little gift shops and you shop locally,” Romero said.

She’s offering 25% off this entire weekend for the small business shopping holiday.
