PORTLAND, Maine — More than a dozen rounds were fired overnight at an apartment building in Portland, according to local police.
Officers responded to 139 Cumberland Ave. shortly after midnight Thursday morning and found several windows damaged and bullet impacts inside the apartments.
“It appears at this time that more than a dozen rounds were fired into the structure,” Portland police spokesperson Brad Nadeau said in a press release. “The area was canvassed with several shell casings found in the snow in Peppermint Park.”
No injuries were reported, according to police.
