OTHELLO, Wash. — The Adams County Sheriff’s Office conducted a training at McFarlan Middle School on Sunday afternoon.

According to a Facebook post from the Adams County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO), the training was a planned exercise to ensure preparedness and effectiveness. ACSO said there was no threat to the public, and there was no need to be alarmed by the law enforcement presence.

“We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to enhance our readiness to serve the community,” said Sheriff Wagner in the Facebook post.
