Shasta County Office of Education Vice President is stepping down | News [Video]

SHASTA COUNTY, Calif. – Shasta County Office of Education Vice President Nick Webb resigned from his seat on the board of education. 

The board decided during Wednesday’s meeting that Webb’s seat would be filled during the November election. 

Webb joined the board in March 2021 and resigned on July 31, 2024, to pursue other opportunities. 

“It was an honor to serve our community and our students alongside such dedicated and thoughtful peers, and I can’t say enough good things about the incredible staff at the Office of Education. I look forward to working with many of you in other capacities in the future,” Webb said.

“I appreciate the dedication and the heart that Nick brought to each meeting. His contributions led to great discussions, which resulted in decisions that had a positive impact on the students, families, and staff in our programs,” Shasta County Schools Superintendent Mike Freeman said.
