Shaboozey to headline Rock Chalk Block Party in Lawrence [Video]

LAWRENCE, Kan. (KCTV) – There’s a party planned on Mass Street in downtown Lawrence this fall.

Kansas Athletics is planning the third annual Rock Chalk Block Party. The fun will take place on Sept. 27, on Mass Street between 10th and 11th Street.

Shaboozey will headline the event.

Gates to the free block party will open at 5:30 p.m. There will be games, kids activities and other fun leading up to the live music. David Morris will take the stage at 7:55 p.m., followed by Shaboozey.

The block party will take place the night before KU hosts TCU at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. Single game tickets are expected to go on sale in early August.
