Early Detection Key to Beating Tuberculosis, Says Health Minister
Washington D.C. – Health and Human services Secretary Xavier Becerra emphasized the importance of early tuberculosis (TB) screening during a recent press conference, stating that prompt diagnosis substantially improves treatment outcomes.
“Tuberculosis is a curable disease,” Becerra asserted.”The key is catching it early. When we identify cases quickly, we can start treatment right away, and patients can recover fully.”
Becerra’s comments come amidst a renewed national focus on TB prevention and control.He encouraged americans to take advantage of readily available screening options, highlighting the ease and effectiveness of self-administered tests.
“We’ve made great strides in TB treatment,” Becerra explained. “The medications are highly effective,and we have a strong network of healthcare providers dedicated to helping patients.”
