See inside the first-ever Sheetz in Michigan, which opened Tuesday [Video]

ROMULUS, Mich. (WXYZ) — The first-ever Sheetz location in Michigan opened its doors to the public on Tuesday. It’s located on Wick Rd. in Romulus.

Sheetz said the location is a one-stop shop for everything people need for a road trip. You can get snacks, fresh made-to-order food, gas, drinks, and more.

“You can get everything. You can do everything, all they gotta do is bring a little area where you can buy clothes and all that stuff… it would be great!”

Residents in the community say they are looking forward to the seeing how the new business will improve the community.

During the construction of the gas station, Sheetz pledged $10,000 to the Big Brothers Big sisters of Southeast Michigan, weekly food donations to local food banks and their support to local special olympics chapters thrugh financial and volunteer support.
