THE SEARCH FOR a man who was reported missing at 7:30pm on Thursday evening is continuing in Co Donegal today.
The man, aged in his 50s, was last seen in his kayak off the coast of Co Donegal, in the Machaire Gathlán area, near the village of Derrybeg.
A spokesperson for the Department of Transport said that the Aranmore RNLI Lifeboat resumed searching at 9:00am this morning and Bunbeg Coast Guard unit have mobilised their search, boat and drone teams.
The Irish Coast Guard R118 helicopter is also tasked with low-water searching.
