Sean McDermott’s presence on the sidelines has transformed the Bills in recent years.
The franchise, once considered an afterthought to large portions of the NFL fanbase, has made itself indispensable as of late, filled with verve, vigor and plenty of scoring ability.
McDermott, with his tactical nous and work with MVP candidate Josh Allen, deserves much of the credit for this upswing. In many ways, he has; his .656 win rate as Buffalo coach is 17th-best in NFL history among coaches with 50 or more games, better than Bill Belichick, Curly Lambeau, Mike Tomlin and John Harbaugh.
