Scout Planning Tesla-like Approach to Selling its Cars [Video]

Like Rivian and Lucid, and Tesla before it, Scout Motors is developing its own way of selling cars that is different than the traditional car dealership model. Stressing its independence and startup qualities in a press release, the automaker said that it will be, “building everything from the ground up.”

Scout Motors is committed to establishing customer-focused relationships. Those relationships, it said, will be, “rooted in trust and transparency.” To gain customer trust, as a relaunched nameplate with a 45-year gap between new vehicle sales, Scout plans to have full price transparency.

They also plan on easing friction points for owners, offering a one company, one app, one login experience.
