A pair of Scotland fans that sheltered an elderly man from the rain have been immortalised in an advert featured on German public transport.
Mail Sport captured the heartwarming moment where two kilt-sporting members of the Tartan Army escorted a local through the Cologne fan park whilst keeping him dry with an umbrella earlier this week.
The clip has since gone viral on social media, garnering over 2.8million views and 17,000 likes on X.
Since then, an ad shown on German trains has recreated the viral moment featuring the good samaritans and their purple umbrella in a minimalist digital art style with the caption ‘Scottish fans – ultra nice.’
24-year-old Scotland supporter Ali Murray carried the umbrella alongside a fellow fan he had just met and detailed the ‘amazing’ experience.
