International streaming service Netflix and Korean broadcasting company Netflix have teamed up.
On December 20, Netflix and SBS announced they had signed a “strategic partnership agreement.” The partnership was officially formed at a ceremony at the SBS Broadcasting Center in Mokdong, Seoul, with SBS President Baek Min Shin and Netflix Vice President of Korean Content Kang Dong Han among attendees.
The collaboration between SBS and Netflix marks a new milestone in introducing the excellence of Korean storytelling to the world. I hope that SBS’s innovative vision and Netflix’s passion for Korea will create a new golden age of K-content that will last for more than 100 years.
