Saraya has been noticeably absent from AEW programming for quite some time now.
The All Elite Wrestling star hasn’t been seen on television since the October 8 episode of AEW Dynamite. On that night, Saraya lost a four-way match against Willow Nightingale, Jamie Hayter, and Nyla Rose.
Beyond stating she was taking a break, the reason for her absence has been unknown. However, Saraya has now shed more light on the situation.
Responding to a troll on social media giving her grief over wearing a Stone Cold Steve Austin hoodie instead of an AEW shirt, she revealed that she has asked for this time off, tweeting out:
“You’re so moronic. I asked for time off for the first time in my career for personal reasons and Tony was gracious enough to give me that. Also I’m a 32 year old woman. I can wear whatever tf I want,” Saraya said in a post.
