San Diego Salvation Army aids Los Angeles wildfire victims with donations [Video]

“There’s many that don’t even know whether their homes have been destroyed or not because they’ve not been allowed back into their communities,” said Major Anthony Barnes, General Secretary of the Salvation Army of Southern California. 

He said some wildfire survivors lost everything, including their homes. Others haven’t been able to get in touch with family members. He said there are a lot of different needs up in Los Angeles right now. 

While donations of food and supplies are appreciated, he said the best way to help right now is to donate money. He said it’s the quickest way for them to be able to purchase what’s needed, and to then reach a wide number of people.
