- Samsung has announced the launch of a year-round Trade-In Program for select Galaxy smartphones.
- The Trade-In program is being piloted in South Korea and France today, with more regions slated for the rest of the year.
- The program will apply even if customers do not purchase a new smartphone.
Next week Samsung will unveil its latest lineup of flagship phones. As in previous years, the company is expected regionalised trade-in offers, varying depending on the country. For those times when a new device is not launched, fans of the brand may be interested to know that Samsung is piloting a year-round Trade-In Program.
To that end, Samsung detailed the announcement in its global newsroom, noting that it will allow customer to, “trade-in of Samsung Galaxy devices at any time of the year on Samsung.com even if customers do not purchase a new phone.”
