Salvation Army of Longview needs 60 kids, senior citizens adopted [Video]

The deadline to adopt one of the angels is now extended until Monday, Dec. 16 because of the need.

LONGVIEW, Texas — Sixty kids and senior citizens are in need of getting adopted to receive a present through the Salvation Army of Longview’s Angel Tree program.

“I just hope that people will support us and help make this Christmas great for the children in need in our community,” said Salvation Army of Longview Capt. Tamara Robb. 

The deadline to adopt one of the angels is now extended until Monday, Dec. 16 because of the need. The organization relies on community support to provide toys to over 1,000 local children and gifts to senior citizens.
