ASHLAND, Neb. (WOWT) – The Strategic Air and Space Command Aerospace (SAC) Museum has announced their newest exhibit, a hands-on experience that lets visitors see the day-to-day life as an astronaut.
In an announcement Friday, the SAC Museum says that each segment challenges participants to solve problems with engineering, physics, and teamwork.
“We are excited to introduce Mission: Astronaut to our community,” said Clayton Anderson, President and CEO of the SAC Aerospace Museum. “This exhibit offers an engaging and interactive way to inspire a passion for STEM education and space exploration, aligning perfectly with our mission to spark curiosity and provide enriching educational opportunities.”
Participants can take control of a robotic hand, explore the process of designing a spacesuit, take a glimpse into possible space habitats and have a moment to reflect on previous and future missions into the final frontier.
