ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – After 14 years in Atlanta, a popular staple of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta has a new home.
The new Seacrest Studio at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Arthur M. Blank Hospital is up and running. It’s a state of the art 1,200-foot broadcast studio designed for programming inside Children’s Healthcare.
According to a Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta press release, the studio will use a CCTV system to allow caregivers and patients to host call-in shows.
Georgia native Ryan Seacrest is behind the project.
“This is some of the best care in the world. This is one of the great facilities in our country. What we wanted to do was take away when they’re thinking about the tough stuff and they’re going through those tough times is take that out of their mind, escape from that and have some fun,” Seacrest said.
