Rutland goes all out for 63rd Halloween parade [Video]

The city of Rutland has gone all out again for the 63rd annual Halloween parade Saturday.The event was full of frights and delights. Those who attended got to witness the extravagant floats, local marching bands and, of course, the skeleton dancers in full pirate costume this year. “People love it, it’s something for everyone to come together and just enjoy on a nice night,” said Ricky Thow from West Rutland.Adrian Hill from Rutland said he has been coming to the parade for years. “I grew up thinking every community had a Halloween parade. You know what I mean? I really did, I thought everybody had this,” he said. “Then venturing out into the world and finding out this is such a unique thing that we do here.”The parade is still popular among the kids in Rutland today, bringing that same sense of wonder that this parade has always embodied. “I …
