After a Mount Tabor home partially collapsed in early August, the Rutland County Humane Society took in 36 dogs, but where are they now? Executive Director Beth Saradarian said most of them have found a new place to call home. “I would say we still have about seven in our care, but the rest of them have been adopted,” she said. Some of the dogs were sent to other shelters around New England, and some went as far as New Jersey.”That was a big help because it would have been a lot to adopt all of them from here,” Saradarian said. “I think the majority of them have been adopted already.
