RTE has revealed that the broadcaster’s Director of Content Jim Jennings is set to leave at the end of the month.
Sharing the update to staff, Director General, Kevin Bakhurst, informed employees of Jennings’ decision to quit.
Bakhurst said that an agreement had been reached in the terms of Jennings’ leave “with the support of the Workplace Relations Commission”.
A spokesperson for RTE added that part of this process was that the terms agreed on are to remain confidential.
Jennings was a member of the executive board of RTÉ up until last year.
Since then, he has been on leave for health reasons.
