Route 34 bridge over Little Buffalo Creek in Perry County reopens [Video]

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced Wednesday that the Route 34 bridge spanning Little Buffalo Creek in Newport Borough, Perry County, is open to traffic.

The bridge was closed in May between Mulberry Street and Bloomfield Avenue due to damage from a vehicle strike.

Repairs to the bridge have been completed. The detour associated with the closure has been lifted, a press release said.
