SUMMERDALE, Ala. (WKRG) — The Baldwin County Electric Membership Charitable Foundation has presented another round of grants benefiting local agencies.

Here’s who will receive funding and how it will be used, according to a Baldwin EMC press release:

The press release said the grants were made possible by Baldwin EMC’s Operation Round Up, which collects money for charitable causes by rounding up participating members’ electric bills.

“The extra change is then used to fund grants. To date, the program has distributed more than $6.5 million in grants to local agencies and individuals in need,” the release said.
