Rock 102s Mayflower Marathon marks record-setting year [Video]

SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) – The 31st annual Rock 102 Mayflower Marathon has come to an end and a final surge of donations came pouring in Wednesday morning to help those dealing with food insecurity.

It was a busy Wednesday morning for many at Rock 102 and MGM Springfield. The radio station’s annual event ended in grand fashion with co-hosts Mike Baxendale and Steve Nagle taking it home. “I’m always so proud to be a part of this community,” Nagle explained. “We’re just two, kind of, dopes who come on and tell jokes every day, but it resonates with people what we do here because when it comes time to be serious about some food insecurity, we’re very serious about that stuff.”
