ROCHESTER, Minn.-The Rochester Police Department partnered with Pasquale’s Pizzeria on Thursday, Dec. 19, to deliver around 150 holiday meals to community members in need.
According to the Pasquale’s around 150 meals were delivered to the Jeremiah Program’s Child Development Center, the Rochester Women’s Shelter and Support Center and students finishing up the last day of finals at the University of Minnesota Rochester.
Captain Jon Turk with RPD says the annual tradition has become a great way reinforce the departments connections in the community while lifting the spirits of people who could use a warm meal during the holiday season.
“To bring the holiday cheer, work with Pasquale, visit some different groups, it’s exciting for us,” Turk said.
The Pasquale’s meals provided included spinach stromboli and in some cases homemade pasta kits.
