ROCHESTER, Minn.–. The National Day of Racial Healing will be formally recognized in the Med City thanks to the Rochester Area Foundation in partnership with Olmsted County.
Introduced in 2017 by a Michigan nonprofit as part of its ‘Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation’ Initiative the holiday takes place the Tuesday following Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
In Rochester– it’s a day that will be committed to having conversations, and participating in activities that identify and at times challenge the impacts of racism on people in the community.
