Robert Kennedy Jr. planning to ‘address the nation’ in Phoenix [Video]

Kennedy will be appearing in Phoenix the same day that Republican Donald Trump is scheduled to be in Glendale.

PHOENIX — Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is planning to address the nation in Phoenix on Friday, the same day Republican Donald Trump is scheduled to hold a rally in Glendale.

Kennedy’s campaign said the candidate’s address will be about “the present historical moment and his path forward.” No other details about the event in Phoenix were released by Kennedy’s campaign.

Trump’s campaign previously announced that the candidate was hosting a rally at Glendale’s Desert Diamond arena the same afternoon as Kennedy’s address.

Sources have told NBC News that Kennedy is reportedly thinking of ending his campaign and endorsing Trump.

Kennedy, the nephew of President John F. Kennedy, has been fighting challenges in several states to his nominating petitions. His campaign has said that they had collected enough signatures for ballot access in all 50 states.
