KALAMAZOO, MI — It’s time for Kalamazoo-area residents to say goodbye to Rite Aid.
The pharmacy will be closing all area locations by late September, said Catherine Carter, Rite Aid’s manager of public relations and external communications. She did not provide an official last day for Kalamazoo’s Rite-Aid locations.
In the city of Kalamazoo, there’s a Rite Aid at 1032 East Cork St. In Portage, there’s a Rite Aid at 1950 West Centre Ave.
The Kalamazoo stores are among 170 remaining Rite Aid stores in Michigan, officials confirmed Wednesday, Aug. 14. The stores have been listed for closure in bankruptcy filings.
