Ricki Lake has revealed the smouldering ruins of her once glorious Malibu mansion destroyed in the raging Los Angeles fires.
The one-time talk show host, 56, showed the devastating aftermath of the California wildfires on social media, which left only a few walls standing in her burnt-out home.
While massive palm trees in front of her home miraculously survived the inferno, the rest of her home has been reduced to smouldering ruins as seen in footage taken by Lake’s friend, Kirby Kotler.
The sun is shining through the broken windows and birds can be heard chirping in the background of the video, which Lake said ‘warms my broken heart’.
‘No doubt had we stayed, we would not have survived,’ Lake told her social media followers as part of a detailed series of posts chronicling the destruction of her Malibu home amid the ongoing California wildfires.
