Ribbon cutting celebrates new housing development in Brazil | News [Video]

CLAY COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) – On Thursday, leaders in Brazil marked the ribbon cutting of a new housing project called “The Reserve Project.” It is part of Thrive West Central’s Homes for the Future program.

The ceremony celebrated the completion of the first of 13 new single-family homes, which will join an existing patio home community.

One of the builders, Kim Emmert O’Dell from The Emmert Group, emphasized the goal of keeping Clay County growing. “We’re always looking for new housing and ways to bring more people to Clay County, increase the tax base, increase our population, and bring positive economic effects to Clay County,” O’Dell said.
