GROVETOWN, Ga. (WJBF) – Columbia County leaders and stakeholders gathered at the Ferguson Farms Subdivision on Old Berzelia Road in Grovetown on Wednesday to celebrate the new 99-unit development with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, which they say is much needed.
The houses are single-family with five different floor plans. Prices range from the $290s to the mid $300s.
More than a dozen have been built, and four have been sold so far.
“Our goal is to build a quality home at a price that everyone can afford, and that’s increasingly getting more difficult as people can see all across the country,” said Casey Williams, the Director of Sales for Stanley Martin Homes. “So adding housing, adding inventory, keeping construction going keeps housing prices down or a little more affordable.”
