Rey Fenix sparked some buzz with new posts on social media as his absence from AEW continues.
Fenix has been absent from AEW programming since the July 20 episode of AEW Collision. In September, Dave Meltzer reported an update in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, saying that AEW was adding injury time to his contract to extend it into 2025. Meanwhile, Fenix’s brother and tag team partner, Penta El Zero Miedo, recently entered free agency.
In a post on Twitter, Rey Fenix wrote, “No one stays in a place where they received inhumane treatment.”
In another post, Fenix responded to a fan who questioned why he was not being used by AEW. He wrote that he would have his chance to speak the truth.
