OKLAHOMA CITY — Republican Vice Presidential Nominee JD Vance will be coming to Oklahoma City on Friday.
Oklahoma is not considered a competitive swing state, and it is heavily favored to cast all of its Electoral College votes to Former President Donald Trump and the Ohio U.S. Senator now his running mate.
FOX23 sources said Vance will be in OKC on Friday for a fundraiser, but many details are not being released for security reasons and because planning is still underway.
Security at the event will also be very high because of the recent assassination attempt on Trump.
Because this is a fundraiser and not a rally, admission into the event will not be free, and the public is expected to have limited to no access outside of those making donations.
