FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — A U.S. News and Health report named Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville to be the top hospital in the state, with a “high-performing” (5/5) grade in 15 of the 20 areas graded.
According to a Washington Regional press release, this is the fourth year in a row that the medical center has been ranked as the top hospital. The report evaluates nearly 5,000 hospitals across Arkansas.
“Washington Regional is committed to providing world-class care,” said President and CEO Larry Shackelford. “As the community’s health care leader for nearly 75 years, Washington Regional has grown into the largest health care system in Northwest Arkansas with specialists who provide high-quality care for many of the most serious health issues that affect Arkansans.”
