NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Democratic Rep. Josh Gottheimer officially launched his campaign for New Jersey governor on Friday at the Runway Diner in South Hackensack, focusing on the high cost of living that he says has driven many families out of the state.
“I am running to be the lower taxes, lower costs governor,” Gottheimer said. “Life in Jersey has become too damn expensive. They love Jersey like we all do, but they just can’t afford to stay or raise their family or even take the family to a diner. That has to change. It’s time for a reboot.”
The four-term congressman is facing six competitors for the Democratic nomination, including Rep.
