REDDING, Calif. – Tonight, the Redding City Council is set to approve and authorize a new Community Wildfire Protection Plan aimed at enhancing the city’s preparedness and defense against future fires.
This new plan builds on the existing fire management framework and focuses on better mitigating wildfire risks in the region.
Plan Focuses on Prevention and Risk Mitigation
The Community Wildfire Protection Plan, prepared by Chico-based Deer Creek Resources, will be presented to the city council tonight.
