Brendan Madden, MD of Spencer Recruitment, candidly talks about helping employers hire in today’s competitive market

Based in the heart of Dublin, Spencer Recruitment specialises in placing candidates in the communications, PR, public affairs (PA), and marketing sectors.

Recognising an opportunity in these sectors, Brendan Madden founded Spencer Recruitment in 2018 having previously worked as a recruitment specialist at Headhunt International. 

Since then, the company has experienced rapid growth and now collaborates with some of the most established PR/PA agencies and organisations in the country, helping them to hire the best talent available.

“Our approach to recruitment is both personal and niche,” he says.

When asked why he chose to specialise in these sectors, Madden explains that he has always been interested in how people and brands communicate, coupled with a passion for politics, which certainly helps for PA roles.
