Recreation Center in Suffolk closed due to power outage [Video]

SUFFOLK, Va. — The Bennett’s Creek Recreation Center is closed for the remainder of the day, according to Suffolk’s Parks & Recreation Department.

Around 1:38 p.m., the department issued a press release stating the center was experiencing a power outage and therefore, would be closing Tuesday afternoon.

According to the department, Dominion Energy has been notified, and work crews were dispatched to 1500 Bennett’s Creek Park Road to access and eventually fix the issue.
